Spending maximum time with one's wife and children solves many problems and protects us and them from much evil. It is an act of worship to do so. The Messenger pbuh says: to gain saviour, find your home spacious - meaning, don't leave your home unnecessarily but rather, spend that time with those who deserve it most - your immediate family. Let us be honest with ourselves. How much of quality time do we really spend with our families? Our colleagues at work see us more than our our own household does! Our dining table is not the same as it was when we were little kids. Today breakfast, lunch and supper is spent either in front in front of the television or being busy on our mobile phones! what have we reduced our family
